Ive gotten a few emails about these, so i figured id get a head start and compile a list of part numbers and prices for the Carbon Fiber interior trims of the RS3!
8V1-853-190-AF-6T3 - Passenger Dash Area- $450

8V4-867-409-J-6T3 - Driver Door - $450

These parts just became active a few weeks ago, so if ordered today it would take about 2 weeks to receive.

If ordering a RS3, 100% . What i like to tell people is that if they are ever on the fence about an option, just order it. Because its going to cost you atleast 5x the amount to put it in after if you change your mind!

Unfortunately, yes. It could be 245 Carbon, 280 Atlas Carbon, or 600 Carbon (or, I suppose, something else).
Wow I didn't know that. Do those numbers represent thread count (for lack of a better term)? I thought carbon fiber itself is the same grayish/black color no matter what. It sounds like those variants are related to the weave. I'll bet 600 Carbon is a finer weave but I may be wrong.
I know the current factory carbon inserts are mostly a shade of gray or charcoal. The inserts in my '93 UrS4 had blue threads in the actual fiber. If only we could get "colored" fiber in the actual material to match the car. Imagine red fibers in the carbon inlays to go with the RS package and the red stitching.

The RS7 performance model can be spec'd with the blue or red carbon, in addition to the normal black.
As far as colors go, i should have a RS3 here next week, ill grab some pictures for you peeps
