Android Auto volume cutting out playing music

Android Auto volume cutting out playing music
Anyone who uses android auto having issues when playing music (pandora)? Volume level decreases randomly, almost like it would do when you get a notification, except the volume of the music never goes back up. Annoying the crap out of me. To get the volume back up i have to jog the mmi controller to the right to bring up google search, then close it, then volume restores back to normal. Seems like it started after they released Waze.
