2018 A3 E-tron Production delay
I've ordered our 2018 A3 eTron back in May as the 2017s were sold out in Canada.
We've just received word from the dealer that an internal e-mail from Audi stated that the A3 E-tron is in a 'production delay' and they will follow up once they know when production starts up.
Fairly disappointing to say the least. Since even if the car is made in Gemany today, it would be 2-3 months for it to get here.
So looks like history may be repeating itself from the 2017 year when orders made in June were being delivered in January.
Anyone privy to any other information regarding this?

Got the same news from my dealer a few days ago. Ordered beginning of June, was told mid-September to mid-October, November at the latest. Now production pushed to October and earliest the car will be here is mid-December. I'm on the fence as to whether I want to wait, considering it could be January in reality. Wasn't really offered anything other than a "sorry". I may look into A3 sedan, though I'm not sure on availability of those either.
