RS3 Saloon Nardo with Aluminium Pack?
I can't decide if this looks better or worse than having the black gloss pack.
Interesting how the rear spoiler is black despite the fact that on other cars with the Alu pack the spoilers are the same colour as the car colour.
FWIW, I was set on Nardo/Black, but after seeing Aluminum in person, I feel like "I" could go with it as well. Looking at Black/Alu pics side by side, "for me", I'm starting to wish the Black option had Alu, or body color on the mirrors...if not the whole mirror, then some portion. It seems like the mirror kind of gets lost in the window, from the side view, and the car as a whole looks kind of plain...but that's just nitpicking.
As someone who tends to go for the more rare colors (Aqua Blue Pearl Corrado, and Jazz Blue 20th GTI) I also started thinking there may be times where I'd regret going with Nardo. I loved it when I test drove it mid day, and was surprised at how much the color changed at different angles/lighting conditions, given the lack of metallic. However I returned another day around dusk, and was disappointed on how dull/bland it looked in the fading sun. It may be a color that needs to always have a fair amount of wax...unless someone just really likes the "primer" look.
Last year, when they were announced, I planned on custom ordering one with the Audi 80/90/Quattro "Pearl White", for a retro look, but never got around to picking final paint code (I think there may have been multiple variations). Lately, I'd been thinking of going with Frost Silver, like my 2013 GLI. It has a nice blend of black/metal trim that's got me rethinking Nardo altogether.
