RS 3 Illuminated Door Trim and Audi Beam Audi Sport Logo
Hi All,
I stumbled across these photos of the door trims having illuminated led lights. Does anybody here on the forums have these also? Also, I've seen that some RS 3's came with the "Audi Beam Audi Sport" Logo which illuminates the ground when the doors are opened. Are these options for European RS 3's? Does anybody have them on theirs in the States or even in Canada?

ive seen a lot of people add the audi puddle lights. BUTTTT, definitely interested in those door trim lights.

The door trim lights are included with the aluminum race trim choice - if you get the optional carbon fiber door trim, you lose the illumination in the trim. I have the illuminated alu trim in my RS3.

Oh ok, got it, thanks! I didn't realize that the Audi USA configurator calls it out. If you choose aluminum decorative inlays, it says "Aluminum Race illuminated inlays", whereas if you choose CF, it says "RS Carbon inlays". No "illuminated" in the latter.
By the way, is the illumination for the aluminum decorative inlays, dimmable from the MMI?

He meant the "Audi Sport" puddle light was the change just introduced recently. Illuminated inlay has been standard feature since day 1.
