Default RS3 winter tyre size for staggered rims

Hello,

i'm waiting for Ara blue RS3 which is due for delivery at the end of November.

Since i have ordered the optional staggered rims (8.5J front, and 8.0J back), is it possible to fit "square" setup for the winter tyres (235 all around)?

We get a lot of snow during winter, so to me it makes sense to go 235 instead of 255 in the front. Anyone have any experience or input on that?

As mentioned, not an issue.

I have 235/35/19 Sotto 3's ready to install on the stock wheels (v56).

Thats what I did- drove them in the snow today and they had great traction. No need to have yet another set of wheels cluttering up the garage....

If you are keeping the RS3 for a few years, then it's actually cheaper to buy a second set of wheels for the winter tires rather than paying twice a year to have tires swapped out and balanced. Further, if you get 18" wheels like the Neuspeed RSe10 18x8.5 ET45 offset (like several of us have on our RS3s now for winter), then more choices on winter tires in 235/40-18, and they're cheaper than the 19" winter tires too.

What did you do with the summer tires? Aren't they cluttering up the garage? A set of wheels mounted to the inside of the summer tires doesn't take up any extra space...

why neuspeed when you can go to to 150CAN per wheel for winter set and save 2 times...RWC AD86 and 225/40/18 and u r 1600CAN in...I guess close to the wheels price only for thus brand.
My 2 cents

Tires are a lot lighter without the wheel inside.
The opportunity cost of the $$ you spent on the new set of wheels would pay for the mounting and balancing. I used to do the same thing as everyone- order new wheels with tires for winter use and do it myself. Now I don't have the energy or time and the $$ I spend to get em swapped out doesn't bother me as much as it used to...

What are RWC wheels? Is that the brand? Who sells them? Is there a web site where we can see what they look like online?
