Shuddering around 20-30MPH
Within the last few weeks I've noticed a slight shuddering in the car when I am around 20-30 MPH. If I release the accelerator, the shuddering seems to lessen or stop, and if I reapply the accelerator the shuddering doesn't immediately come back, but usually does. Outside of this speed range, there's pretty much nothing unusual. Definitely nothing at highway speeds, nor at very low speeds.
Any ideas what this may be? At first, I thought it was wheel or suspension problem. It started not too long after I had a flat repaired, and I wondered if the tire was mounted improperly, but that doesn't seem to be the case, especially after I realized the problem disappeared upon releasing the accelerator.
Thanks for any advice or insight anyone may have.
Thanks. I'll see if I can get into my mechanic this week to get that looked at. Is this a dangerous (or, at least, "severely damaging") problem like I shouldn't drive the car or is it relatively safe to drive?
