S6 Avant body question

S6 Avant body question
First time poster and new. I am considering an S6 Avant and my question is does the S6 Avant have the same body as regular A6 Avants? I realize that there are some S6 specific body panels that are removable. Are the shells the same though? TIA

The S6 has wider fender flares than the A6 avant, and has a different hood, bumpers, and quarter panels. It shares the same body with the A6 4.2 V8 (except the rear quarter panels and rear hatch of course) and the RS6 (same as A6 4.2 V8 but different bumpers). Regular A6 avants will not share much except for door panels and rear hatch. Hope that helps.
