Help haunted odometer

So i just got an audi a4 b6 and love it so i put my a6 c5 up for sale. My mileage on the a6 is about 130k. I turned on the car today to get the exact message and it says there are 651501 miles on my car! What can i do to fix this or is there even anything i can do?

Well, you might check with an Audi independent shop who might be able to correct the odometer for you. I doubt that there is anything that you can do for yourself.

I think you can reset it with Nefmoto or one of the apps that lets you recode all the modules. I don't think VCDS will do it. Locksmiths sometimes have a system hack tool that might do the trick. Dealers can do it because they have to when a new cluster is installed.
