power steering doing wierd things

i have a 2001 audi a6 c5 2.4l tiptronic, the powerstreering on my car is confusing. i hit a bump in some speed and my powersteering stoped working, i changed the pump and it worked perfectly. after a week or so it stopped working. changed it agaaain and after a week it happend again. so i know its something killing my pump, i do not know what is doing that. so thats why i am here searching for help on what is wrong with my powersteering.

There is a filter in the reservoir that clogs. If you have changed the pump I would remove the reservoir and clean it and the filter in the bottom.

^^ and if power steering pump is audibly cavitating then replace pump low pressure rubber elbow hose and clamps
