Limp mode
Hi my car went in to limp mode found out it was the egr pipe so I blanked them of and wen I take it out for a drive it works ok Burbank soon as I let my foot of and put it back down again it’s in limp mode plug it in it comes up egr witch yes I know and the other one turbo under boost could the turbo be under boost coz of the egr it’s a Audi A6

Difficult to understand anything with all the typos and no punctuation but if you are in limp mode you need to get the malfunction codes and figure out what they are and work from there without that information it isn't likely to get much help and A6 covers a lot of territory as there are several engine variations and the A6 model spans 20 years so it would be helpful to have specific information in that area and you may not be in the right forum for your vehicle you can also do a search on here looking for answers to your question.

First get your proofreading out of limp mode. Was the scan done with VCDS of just an OBD scanner? What were the codes? As Harleyguy suggested, please provide year, engine(gas or diesel), transmission info. Exhaust Gas Temp sensors often cause this symptom, but usually would throw a code. Could be transmission, gear selector lights OK?

OP> Limp mode has many odd causes. I had it happen once due to a loose mount for a wheel speed sensor wire. My mechanic who replaced the CV boots left that bolt out. LOL.
