I need some basic assistance with my A6 Quattro 2.7L Turbo!
Recently bought a used 2002 Audi A6 Quattro 2.7L Turbo and need some basic assistance from someone who knows these cars. I am mechanically/automotively clueless and just want some quick answers from someone knowledgeable.
Vehicle is generally in seemingly good running condition, been driving it for about a month quite a bit daily but was told by seller it has some basic maintence needed to upkeep its overall performance. Physically it is in excellent condition and appears to have always been well taken care of. All interior power features etc. are fully functional. Mileage is currently around 268,000km and seems to run totally fine as of now but I would really like to make sure I take care of anything it needs to get the most life out of it. I’m clueless when it comes to cars so I probably wouldn’t even be able to identify an issue were there to be one so I figure it’d be best to ask questions here lol.
My primary concerns are the dashboard warning symbols that appear. A buddy just plugged it an ODB the other day and reset all warnings for me so I am told those that are still displaying are all current and necessary. I’ve attached a 10 second video I took of the warning symbols being displayed and just want to know exactly what each one means, how critical/urgent they are (if at all), whether each warning is worthwhile to tend to, and the approximate cost of service for each.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
