A6 2001 2.7t engine shaking

A6 2001 2.7t engine shaking
i just replaced my waterpump, it was broken and i replaced it with a new identical pump, and after 24hours my engine started shaking and a lot of smoke is coming out of the exhaust. i checked the sparkplugs and they seemed fine. i checked almost all hoses and they were all intact. i havent checked the engine mounts, i dont know were they are. anyone who might know what is wrong with my car?
