Hi, my car - Audi a6 2001 2.5tdi v6 quattro has been acting not so good for some time now. It takes time to start the car, when it does it blows white smoke until it warms up - the spark plug symbol blinks in the panel for a while and then goes away. What could be the issue? I would think that it is a faulty/clogged up fuel injector/s what do you think?
So it seems, but an injector issue would likely be present beyond starting and warm up. Blowing white smoke when warming up can indicate there is a head gasket sealing issue.
