To the best of my recollection, the uppermost symbol is the windshield washer fluid level (this means you are out of fluid). The oil can indicates the level is low. Find your dipstick and do a proper level check. The use george's link and look up all the symbols that may pop up from time to time. You should track down an owner's manual for your car and buy it.
