new bosch rear 02 sensors don't work

Not much in the way of information. I installed both rear O2 sensors with Bosch and they work great (2001 A6 2.7T). Cleared the "Cat inefficiency" code immediately and they fit perfectly. I did not use the connector that came with 'em, though. No room. Just used butt splices and silicone tape. Wire colors were the same as the originals. Sure you ordered the right ones?
