2003 Audi a6 3.0 CVT transmision slams when coming to a stop

2003 audi a6 3.0 cvt tansmission slams when i come to a stop like its not disengaging correctly and car goes into limp mode occassionally. any ideas?

I had the same problem on mine , slams when u come to a stop and slams when you start it , check the brake light switch which is an easy fix , bought the switch at the Audi dealer for $25 and did it myself
It’s only 25min job , I replace the switch and no slams so far , hope this helps !
