My viscous radiator fan went loose resulting the coolant to boil in the heat and heavy traffic. I am trying to figure out how the fan is fitted. I suspect that I might be missing a few parts?
As you can see from the picture below I can only find a "pin" that sticks out from the fan pulley. When looking at the viscous coupling to the fan it has threads that seems to be screwed on. Am I missing some parts here?
Not exactly sure what I'm looking at. Are the threads under that inner looking bearing race? Check out what the new part looks like online, and move in reverse from there.
