Turbo seised :/
Hey guys, i have a 2006 2.0 tdi 140bhp.
All was good until lastnight the turbo decided to seise up, no smoke just loss of power, pulled over and the AA said the turbo hose was getting sucked flat so there was a blockage somewhere, took a few bits off and he said the turbo was seised and then a tow home, great! :/
So the question is, can i just remove and get the turbo reconditioned? or just to bolt a new one straight on? there only between £200-£250 on ebay which i thought was cheap really!
So is it the case of just unbolting one, bolting on another and away i go? cheers in advance guys
