Steering control module R or Q?
Hi all,
does anyone know know the difference between the 8E0 953 549 R and the earlier 8E0 953 549 Q.
Long story short, mine apparently has the R fitted from build which is total nonsense as it has an S fitted. Im retro fitting cruise control, purchased an R but a Q turned up. The seller reckons its fine and will work ok.
Does anyone know know the difference and if it will work? Is the coding different or do I code it exactly the same as I would have coded the R.
I have an 05 B7 2.0 ALT multi tronic.
