Offered for sale is my ’99 Avant with 250,000 miles. The best car I ever owned…this is why I maintained it so well and kept driving it for so long. As the second owner I have spared no expense in maintaining this car.
The automatic transmission has developed a common leak at the oil pump, which is beyond my capability of personal repair. The estimate to repair this transmission in Scranton PA is $1,500.00. I must now part with this immaculate car.

Here are some highlights of recent maintenance…
Complete timing belt service 100 miles ago.
New upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses & coolant reservoir.
New fuel pump
All new rotors, pads, and calipers.
Rear suspension: new springs, struts, control arms, bushings, alignment bolts, all fully anti-seized for easy adjustment.
Perfect alignment achieved: I get 38,000 miles on a set of tires.
New windshield/headlights washer reservoir, pump and grommets.
Restored wheels – New Uniroyal tires.
Sub frame excellent.
Front control arms replaced as needed.
Auxiliary air pump hoses new, all vacuum hoses replaced.
New third brake light assembly.
New Ignition switch.
Oil changed every 5,000 miles: Lubrication Engineers Monolec oil only.
New Beru coil pack, Ignition wires, and Spark plugs.
New Headlight Assemblies
New Battery 3/20/19: kept on a maintainer.
Annual brake fluid changes with ATE Dot 4 fluids.
This car is soon going to need…
Resonator patch (starting to make noise)
Right front fender (showing typical rust at outer top lip)
Currently there is a code stating insufficient air flow detected. The Kombi valves are most likely blocked and the culprit.
Transmission repair estimated to be $1,500.00
