06 A4 detonation

Hi All,

My car has about 115K miles. The car runs great but when the weather gets warmer than 80 degrees the cars starts to detonate when I accelerate. There are no fault codes or anything.

Does anyone have this problem and/or solution? I'm wondering if I need to replace the knock sensor. Thanks

Are you getting really getting detonation as in a pinging sound or a misfire - either way it might be worth checking spark plugs and coilpacks before replacing a sensor. Are there any codes showing - they can still be recorded, without a MIL indication
