Is this an expensive fix? The door hit another car and I have the scratch along the edge of the door. I was told if left untreated, the scratch will begin to rust.
Scratch is about an inch long, but it's pretty deep.

I’d suggest you buy a DIY touch up kit from Dr. Colorchip and fill it up yourself. It is such a tiny scratch and on a part where no one will notice. If you take it to a shop, chances are that they’ll tell you to do a full repaint and ask for big $$$s. I used Dr. Colorchip for rock chips on my hood and I’m pleased with the outcome. It’s noticeable but not as bad as it was before without the touch up.
