Default After polishing with an orbital - how do you get excess polish out of panel gaps?

After I use an orbital, I always struggle with getting the bits of white paste out of small seams and cracks like around reflectors and between panel gaps. Then when it rains, the paste comes out and makes white streaks on the car.

Any tips by the pro's for cleaning up the mess? I have a small air compressor, maybe I should try to blow it out next time?

I usually tape the gaps to prevent this issue.

You can can use a detailing brush and some QD to remove wax from the cracks. Or a damp microfiber towel worked for me.

I also did read somewhere that eraser pencils can help get wax out of the cracks.

Same here. Used a QD like Griots Spray wax and a clean MF towel.

Thanks guys, QD and a really tight towel does a pretty good job on cracks, and for gaskets and trim (like around the moonroof), more research seems to point to McKee's 37 Wax Remover to be just the ticket.

I also have a cosmetic brush kit that I bought on Amazon for $19 that have very soft brushes of various sizes. I use them along with quick detailer to agitate the wax out of tight spots like around the emblems and badging

I use a brush my wife gave me from her makeup brush collection. Extremely soft bristles and works perfectly especially around the emblems and badges.
