Disable parking lights on my Ecodes!
I bought my car with Ecodes and sadly I know chit about headlights. I have read you can disable the parking lights by "cutting the thin wire". Well I opened up one of the lights and this is what I see:
3 wires (1 brown 2 striped) entering the housing. Then these wires are split into about 12 very small wires.
Can anyone help?
Also I would prefer to not cut the wire if I knew which wire to unplug from the bulb(s)...

The wires to the parking lights (the USA spec ones, anyway..) are external to the housings...
find the wire that is hot when the parking lights are on (use a simple 12v voltage tester) and cut that one. Don't forget to cover the bare end of the wire with electricians tape.

you want to cut the thinner wire...
There are three wires going to the turn bulb holder. One (brown) is ground, the other two are power. The noticeably thinner wire powers the parking light function, the thicker powers the turn signal. You're looking at the wires going to the headlights themselves I think.
