Default Is this how the nylon tube sits in the t-fitting?

Can anyone explain to me how the nylon tube will get an acurate reading if it is only sitting in the black tubing and not actually over the t fitting nipple?

Thanks

Default You dont even need to use the nylon fitting, you can just run rubber vac line from the T fitting

to the back of the gauge.

Default but where does it fit to the back of the boost gauge? It seems ...

to only fit that thin of a wire, and not that thick vac line tubing

Default you have to make a big hole to get that into the vent though

not like you see it but no reason to. It doesn't have to be fitting over the t-fitting as long as air is flowing through there its fine. Just put a couple inches of the nylon tubing into the rubber tubing and put 2 or 3 zip ties on there so your sure you have a good seal

Default Easy, you dont put the big brass fitting on. The gauge should have a treaded fitting already

which you just slip the rubber vac line over.

Default small or big hole it doesnt matter. Why make more spots for it to leak by using a line inside

another? If your going into the middle vent, you just remove the cluster and drill a hole into the vent tube from there, if your afraid of losing cold air thru that hole then use a rubber grommet. I have 3 gauges in my center vent and all my lines come in from there.

Default Mattarios dont you have anybody living close to your area that is active on AW

it seems like you need a mentor that could teach you some basics about certain things. i hope that by the end of this project you will know some things about vacuum lines and the basics of cable routing and stuff
