Brake pad wear sensors... which plug?
<center><img src="http://www.cronies4life.org/thepuke/a4/images/brakepadwearsensorplug.jpg"></center><p>I'm about to order some new brake pads for my '01 Avant 1.8Tq, and noticed that there are two types of plugs available, which the vendor describes as "oval" or "rounded square." I took the wheel off to visually inspect the plug on my vehicle, and while the plug itself is definitely oval in shape, the outer part looks like it could be a "rounded square." Can anyone confirm that these are indeed the "oval" plugs before I order? Thanks.

kind of off topic....
if your going to replace your pads. Why not go with some performance ones. Just a little bit more in cost... but definatley worth the added braking efficiency. And you don't need brake pads with sensors. Any will do. Just cut the wire from your old brake pads. Connect the two wires together, and plug it into the harness. Then move the sensor wire out of the way and use any pads you wish. My 02$ oh and it's rounded square (edited).

I was considering both Mintex Red Box and EBC Green Stuff pads. I've decided on Mintex because I used their pads on my Audi 90 and was always more than happy with them. Thanks for the info.
