Default GIAC flashloader vs GIAC chip
A friend's car has the GIAC chip from a few years ago. GIAC says he can upgrade to the flashloader for free. He's had no problems with my IBE chipswitch. Is is worth the time to change it out?
Will it get better performance with the flashloader? The A4 is stock.

i thought its flash capable with 2001 everything below was manual soldering IIRC

Default I have mine flashloaded and the only difference between flashloaded and soldered is
convenience and reliability over a bad solder job. I don't believe there are any power differences between the two.

The CH box is not flashable, Only the P box IIRC

i think i have a 018P box and it wasnt flashable on a 2k
