Looking for advice in purchasing a modified 2000 A4

I am currently * not * an Audi owner however there is one for sale that I am looking at. It is a 2000 A4 1.8TQ with 67k on the clock. The seller says it is putting out close to 300+HP so I assume it has a turbo upgrade as well as a chip, exhaust, etc. Is there anything else specifically I should take a look at before purchasing the car? I am going to be taking a look at it today at 8:00pm Pacific Time, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

timing belt will need to be done...i would have done it 7k ago

Thanks.. timing belt was replaced and so was a lot of other things. He seems to maintain very well, but I am just worried about purchasing an upgraded car. More room for problems.

and don't forget.. if a guy put the mods in.. her probably used them..

aggressive driving... suspension, brakes, and all that lovely stuff should be checked.. worry less about checking the mods. but instead... worry about the basics. sorry my typing today is the suck.

it depends i have a 325hp A4 and i made sure to check things like compression and ring leak down

regularly. you might wanna check out the drivetrain as well. AWD car and launching generally fight each other. i never launched my car because i never wanted to deal with any problems and never considered my car to be a drag car...
