KO4 upgrade what do I need.

I might be getting a K04 for $500 with 5K on it from a friend. I want to make my car as reliable as possible. My car right now has 110K a 99.5 Quattro. He also will be able to get me injectors for $100. Just to keep in mind I already have an exhaust a 3 inch turbo-back. Also planning to get a 710N when I do my clear cornor drill mod.

1. What other things will I need and a rough cost.
2. What output will i be getting.
3. Would this mod be worth it. I already have have a Autority .8 bar chip with exhaust which give me a theortical engine output of 220-230.

how are you getting 220-230 with just chip and exhaust?

I think you're probably closer to 210.

you'll need tuning for the K04 (GIAC, etc), an installation kit from ECS

you can do a 710N or a piston-type valve (a la Forge, etc)

also, a new N75J valve can help save your boost.

maybe a different FPR... what kind of injectors can your buddy get?

expect 240-250 with the right tuning.

2nd that

with a .8 bar chip and exhaust you're probably right around 200bhp

gaskets etc from your dealer or one of those install kits.

I would really consider software if I were you, even with injectors etc your really not getting everything you can out of that turbo choice.

He is lucky if he has 220 tq with a .8 bar chip.

Maybe about 180 hp. A 3 inch exhaust isn't going to give a 30-40 hp gain.

BTW, still no update for my ET of 12.3?

woah, didn't even see the .8 bar part...

yeah, i'd say the k04 with the right tuning will give you a good 40-60 hp boost, depending on how much you're really putting out right now.

The 710 does not apparently do much as far as power... see European car Issue, somewhere in the
