Default Acura RSX- Type-S

I want to thank everyone at Audiworld for the great advice and laughter you've give me.
Dont get up with me but I purchased a 2002 RSX Type-S last night. I love Audi and will forever respect the engineering-performance and the feel of driving one. Switching from 1.8t Quattro to 2.0 vtec fwd will be a treamedous change. So my Audi is on sale and here i go...vtec.....
I will miss signing on and checking what everybody had to say.
When i get a little old and have the money, I would buy a brand new Audi.
Thanks guys.

Tommy-

Default good choice...

between the RSX-S and A4...i'd take the RSX.

That was my first choice when I was replacing my first A4...but the RSX's insurance was $7k/year so i got another A4.

The RSX does well with mods. It walked my GIAC chipped A4.

Go VTEC! =)

Default How long did you own your A4?

Nice choice by the way. The RSX was my second choice.

Default you would say somthing like that...honda boy...

lol j/k.
I personaly would take AWD over FWD, turbo over VTEC, and 4 door over 2 door, and I think the interior of the A4 is much nicer.
all the RSX has on it IMO is the 6 speed, and stock for stock handling.
But...to each his own.
so if a modded RSX walks a chipped A4, is a chipped A4 about on par with a stock RSX?
Ive beaten one with exhaust by a little, both of us w/ a passenger, but who knows how the drivers matched up.

Default What you find special about Audi, you will also find special about Acura.

The Acura is a great car, and with proper driving instruction it's a tremendously capable vehicle. Good luck and enjoy your car.

Default Drive train loss is a bitch.

Chipped/exhaust/2.8tranny (slows me a tad) I barely walked a stock jetta 1.8T through 3rd.

BARELY

through the extent of 3rd gear I gained a car lenght on him.

Basically the A4 is heavy, and looses alot in the quattro.

Would I trade mine in for a FWD Jetta or GTI?

Hell no.

Default Haha, I found some 17's on Tire rack that weigh 20lbs each

and cost $125 a piece.

Thinking about picking them up for track use only (at that price they HAVE to be soft)

My wheels though? Cant weigh more than 30 a piece :-)
