Anyone--- please, quick pricing help

Looking at buying TODAY, an 01 A-4Q, 1.8T, 48K miles, Excellent condition, no all weather, no Sport pkg, they are asking 16,500.00, (private party) Edmunds is saying 13,500, KBB is saying 16,800.00 what's is the market for this car?

Mention that the TIming belt will need to be done in 10K

and will cost about a grand.

and that is effecting your decision.

That might put things into perspective for him

thanks for the leverage. the car is spotless, any help is appreciated, I just don't get why the KBB price and the Edmunds TMV price are so different.

I dont thinkg the KBB people think that the B7 is effecting B5 prices yet

but they are wrong.

Since the B7 came out I have noticed a significant drop in B5 pricing.

I dont think I could get more than 9 for my 01.5 wagon if I fixed it up real nice.
