fvck! I stripped the O2 sensor bolt@!#%$&

I had a very difficult time unbolting the rear O2 sensor today from a eurocode testpipe (keep in mind the testpipe was installed couple of weeks ago). It started off fine with a quarter turn and then I had such difficulty unbolting it that I managed two full turns before I stripped one edge of the bolt. WTF? I used WD-40 like a mother but the thing just wouldn't budge. So I left it like that with two threads showing until I figure out a better solution.

Just for kicks, does anybody have a spare rear O2 sensor lying around (for 2000 model, ATW)?

did you use a an o2 wrench of a set of pliers

I believe you can use the $25 VW O2 sensor on 2000s. search for the PN. pick up a 22mm snubbie.

You stripped the sensor or the bung?

I actually have a spare 02 sensor here at the house and will have another spare when the remove it from the car to do the stand alone install. Both are OEM audi parts with the black plug on the end of the cable.
