Got back from my first DE/Track day.....
It was one of the best times I have ever had! I saddly got not one picture and I don't think anyone else took any either. We had 2.3 miles of track open to us from 8-4 today and an insane amount of instruction from 3 instructors to split among the 3 of us making up the novice/Track nOOb group. I reset my odometer going in to the day upon arrival and reset it when leaving and in my actual time on the track I logged over 100 miles and would assume the more expirienced guys got well over 200 at least. The knowledge gained is unmeasurable in value...I feel as if I am driving a new car in a way and I am sad because I know this has hooked me "crack". I also now have a really good idea on what modifications I want to make next and why they make sense for my needs and how I really will use my car.

I don't think I got more than a few pics my first time out. I had such a great time that I didn't have a desire to fiddle with the camera...I just wanted to DRIVE! I went home thinking about track cars, sticky rubber and my next event.
But next time we expect pictures...or you're OUT! :-P

Yeah tracking will do that to ya.
then when you get kinda good or bored(yeah right) at one course... there are plenty of others just a few hours away to put you back on the toes and turning in early, braking early, off line and looking like a tourist all over again. What confidence I gained in my abilities at the Glen was yoiinked from me on my 2nd lap of Mont Tremblant and I had to work to regain it.

Yeah. The thing about Fearnley is next time I will have 2 more miles to include and learn):
I also missed out on running the track in reverse(: I am not kean on the track fees at the other Tracks within 3-5 hours away so I gotta start saving for the ones at Sears Point, Infineo and Laguna Seca. Phil the Track bug hits hard and takes no prisoners.
