ianbis and 1.8G and anybody else with the Tantrumwerks HFC.
did a lot of searching and you guys (ianbis and 1.8G) came up. i was just wondering of what kind of performance it puts out and if is worth it??do any of yo uhave any dyno graphs of gains??thanks

sorry no dyne charts here. I also got the DP at the same time. I lost some low end torque but at
higher RPMs the car felt stronger. The turbo whine sounds louder (not obnoxious loud, good loud). I don't know where you are located but in NJ all 1996 and new vehicles get OBD11 (for emissions inspections) so as long as you don't have a CEL and the inspector can visually see the cat the car passes emissions. Hope I was able to help. It was worth it to me cause it was so much cheaper than the OEM cat (which suffered from flange separation and even though it got welded back together the flange was welded with the cat out of the car without the correct orientation so it then had clearance issues). The HFC is so much lighter and smaller and it bolts right up with out any issues.
