Excellent Toluene Article...

Good article. Does anyone have any 1st hand experience using Toluene?
I currently run Sunoco 94 with my K04 PC_16 setup.
Would I see a noticeable benefit from adding a gallon of Tuluene to the tank & raising it to 95.28 octane?

I've used 5 gals mixed with 10 gals of 93/94 to make 100-101 for track days with GIAC XR K03 program
I've been told not to use that high of a ratio, but I didn't think it would harm anything when I used the entire tank full each day.

I've used it. I've mixed it with 93, 94, and 100.
My engine loved it. It felt smoother and definitely pulled harder (GIAC programming). However, I was always a little nervous about talks of it doing some wear on the fuel lines (rubber components?). I don't know if it's true or not.

Once i find a place that i can get it, im doing 2 gallons w/ some 93...
i guess itll make about 98 octane. Im told dahlback likes high octane and/or race gas, Audi2ptzero said beejohns (i think) car reacted quite well to some race gas added to the cali 91 octane.

I found a cheapo paint store that used to sell it for ~$20/ 5 gal drum.
Last time I was there, it was selling for around $45, but I gave the sales guy an old receipt and they still gave it to me for $20-21 since I was buying them 2 at a time about once a month for awhile.
