Default After STFA and found the specs on boost for stock ko3 sport(2001) ...
just want to double check ... I installed a vdo and in park/idle i run about 20 hg/in when i wide open throttle the highest i hit was 12 maybe a little past 12 ... 12.5 sometimes Its a 2001 with 89k miles everything seems good ... yes ... no?

also ... i used vac lines instead of nylon tubing and i have it running over the manifold, just to see how it would work, drove 30 minutes being cautious and the manifold and everything was fine. But it also was 50 degrees out. Will it be of concern when its 70-100 degrees out or with the manifold not melt that thick of wire?

Default should be 25 on vacuum and 15boost... time to check your boost gauge hoses
and other lines as well. actually 12 might be fine for a stock 01. i dont know. but

can i get a chart of what wires to check or something ... i have no idea of what wires to check. Thanks

Default and the only vac lines is the one at the back of manifold ...
and the one on the front of the manifold that runs under the engine right?

Default Good luck running boost through a wire
Your <b>hoses</b> run all over the place. 12psi for a 2001 stock sounds about right, if a little high, even. Have you replaced the BPV?

Default nope i should probably search about them b/c i don't know anything about them ...
are they cheap? expensive? easy to install?

bsk said i should be runnin 15 psi, you say 12 psi?

Default so 12 psi seems normal, i checked everythin over after boost gauge install ...
and everything looked perfect

i stfa and it said 8-12 psi at wot is about right. But i don't know bsk is tellin me numbers like 15 psi stock ... dun dun dun dun dunnnnnn
