Cat Back for 1998 1.8T Q Manual
Hi All-
I have been forced (sooner that I was prepared) to mod my exhaust. The bellows on my downpipe crapped out on me, and I'm stuck scrambling on what cat-back to pick. I haven't had time to do my homework, so am hoping I can tap into your knowledge.
I know the major players (Borla, Neuspeed, APR, Greddy, Milltek), and I need some advise / pros / cons for each.
Sound is important to me. That is - not a lot of sound. A deep rumbling is good. A whiney, reverberating sound not good. Unfortunatley I don't have time to sound test each, so your feedback is welcome.
My current set-up is stock + Forge BP Valve. I plan on chipping, but no major mods (i.e. no KO4 / FMIC, etc), so I don't if a 70mm / 2-3/4" is really necessary.
