Keyless entry antenna 4F0909141C - how much resistance?

It's inside of center console ... have my center console pulled apart ... waiting for reply .... thank you

Quick question - how much resistance for working? ... or how to check if it's working ?

did research and found in just one post it should be around 8 Om ... is it true?

My antenna shows nothing - "0" and no continuity sound ...

Please help me to sort out "no key identified" issue ... thank you

You are focused like a laser on the antenna, which is simply a 'conduit' for a radio signal; did you scan the car for faults using a VAG-compatible scantool, and what are the results of that? We know zip about your car, the problem you wish to resolve, or any salient details/anything useful to be able to help you at this point.

Thank you for reply … I always treat any issue with Audi as a complex … solution for any small issues can grow like snow ball by the end of day … ha-ha... that is why we LOVE Audi.

OK … my authorisation system is “Keyless-Go”. … The situation:

1. (All 4 door hands replaced on brand new) …. “Keyless-In” function – left side of the car (passenger) works like a charm both front and rear door handles – just a fingertip touch unlocks … and lock buttons respond 100% on lock push.

2. Right side of the car is not sensitive like left side. Most of the time I have to use key button to unlock the car.

I experimented with rear door antenna on sensitivity area … interesting result – I placed one finger on door handle and moved slowly in circle motion the key along front and rear doors – some (2-3 spots) allowed to unlock the car … practically the same if I wanted to lock the car by pushing on door handle lock buttons.

3. “Keyless-Go” function. Key placed on the top of MMI unit gives sometimes “no key identified’ … I would say most of the time. But, when I push “Start” and move the key along center console the car comes “alive”.

You can say, if you ask about resistance data – open left rear door and check resistance on working side … I could but I have 2 jobs and only weekend is my time to spend with car … that is why I wanted to have help on the site to get info. I collect all info during the week before can do something.

If I will not have the help by coming weekend, I will do it.

… another element of the system is J723 – keyless access authorization antenna reader. This unit is a subsystem and I’m not expecting any problem with just replacing the unit …. At least all info states like that. (if I’m wrong please correct me).

I’m typing from work and do not have scan report with me … but the message is

004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
