Not necessarily; depends on what the depth was when mounted, as diff tires begin with diff initial depths...not all the same. I would consider 8/32 remaining @11k miles to be relatively good wear on the 4L Q7, especially if said tires feel good/secure/sporting to drive on. This is not a fly-weight vehicle that encourages long tire life. Rather, it is a German tank-chassis, beast of a car, with full-time AWD split 40/60 base ratio for max traction and tire chewing, and it has a goodly amount of torque, especially on TDI models, to support a lot of Yeehaw moments & memories, with a big, stupid smile on our faces. I smile every single time I start off in my TDI from a stop sign or light. The absolute last thing on my mind when I'm driving is how many miles my tires will last, lol, but they are actually holding up quite well on both our Q7s. I'm much more interested in the tires keeping the car upright and on the road/trail in challenging situations...the tire's wear longevity is just bonus if it keeps me from crashing out, and alive.
