Hi, if it's noisy, or clunking when you select R or P modes, then you should consider doing a drain/fill service on it; synthetic transmission fluid actually doesn't last forever, no matter what Audi says; it just doesn't. You need to be sure to post your inquiries in the dedicated sub-forum for your 4M chassis Q7, which is the one labeled as Q7 Mark II (2016-?), as this is the forum for the 4L chassis Q7...up to 2015 model year. While it is good fluid they put into the tranny, it breaks down over time, as do all fluids, and needs to be replaced with fresh fluid to maintain performance and protection levels inside the transmission.

Good luck!

Yes, that's because you have the 4M chassis, which is a clean-sheet redesign from the prior, 4L Q7 chassis. (This is the 4L chassis forum you posted in, BTW) Yours makes a 'servo' type of noise, which is normal for that model because you push a button to put it in Park, rather than physically moving the shifter into a defined P position...there is no mechanical linkage; it's all fly-by-wire tech in the 4M. It's the same for the parking brake, which again, on your Q7 is electrically servo-activated via console switch on your newer model. All these minor things I've noticed are normal for the 2016+ cars. Doesn't change the fact you need to do fluids maintenance on the entire driveline, since Audi doesn't do it for you. Get a VAG-compatible scantool...soon. Reading your user guide/owner manual is highly recommended on the Q7.

Good luck

Thanks Very much mate i was worried i normally get scared for small sounds,

I still have one sound since 7 months i own the car that i never knew how to solve it , when i turn the steering wheel to the end no matter if right or left i notice a buzz sound and i feel it on the steering wheel to but the car should be moving and the sound increase if i keep pressing the pedal its a sound like when your on a small garage and you accelerate your 3.0turbo audi q7 you here that buz in your ears well this just happens to me only

1. when the Car is cold
2. the car should be moving completly on Right or left direction with the steering wheel at the end of any side.
3. If i drive on straight line or normal turnings not full turnings sound doent appear.

4. If i drive for more than 30minutes driving the buz sound dissappears and no matter how many times i turn left or right the buzz sound never appears.

I checked all front suspension and nothing wrong

I feel the sound comes from behind not from the front, but i feel a very very small feeling on thay buz on the steering wheel.

Also i Notice when i drivdr for more than 1 hour the steering wheel begin to make a noise like plastic touching with other plastic i read audi suffers from hot weather after the car get cold dissapears to

Today unluckuly all sensors turned on braking system fault, airbag, typs, faulty all audi sensor dashboar light went on. Like the car its not recieving the correct voltage i changed the battery and still all is onn after clearing all errors, i notice after driving 20 minutes all dissapear

I love this audi but i find lot of problems hope i get better lucky with it this days

Well, you are going to learn a lot then. You have an electric power steering pump; holding it hard on the stops is BAD, and can cause damage to the pump/system...don't do that, ever.

You are going to learn so much here...especially when you go read/post in the correct forum for your Q7 model year. Let's begin with the lesson of how to select the correct sub-forum for your 2016 + Q7, 4M chassis car. I've already provided you everything you need to get there, and resolved all your noise concerns. Go to the home page/new member section immediately and familiarize yourself...trust me on this.

Hint: This is not the forum you need for your car. Ready, go!

I didn't know Audi made a 2016 Q7. I thought they skipped.

My 2010 was actually built in mid-2010. The 2015 was built in 2014 and then sold as a 2015 model...and yes, they did skip due to the clean-sheet, complete redesign of the 4M chassis and factory retooling required. Also notable, the 2017 Q7 made the Consumer Reports "Worst Used Cars to Buy" list, along with the recently added '21 Q7.
