Default AE: Q7 suspension system - what is this part called?

This part is linked to the front suspension system. The right side is ok but apparently the left side lost the rubbers that keep the joints in ace and that keep this complete part moving easily and in place.
car: Audi Q7 / 2008 / 4.2 litres / Gas

Looks like a height/level sensor that is attached to the suspension control arm.

Headlamp level sensor for the front (left) suspension, attaches to the upper control arm. The center plastic pin at the UCA needs to be pushed down to release the part from the UCA. The plastic can become brittle with age, exercise caution removing it. The part costs MSRP $315, but around $220 new at online dealers.

I removed the 10 mm nut while counter holding the stud with a thin profile wrench. Removed the plastic holder thing together with the UCA. Then remove the holder from the UCA off the car. Fortunately did not break it in the process.

You may be able to fix by making your own bushing? or just replace the two plastic arm segments.

I believe the part may be: 7L6-616-213. EBay has used ones for around $50.

Is this part by any means affecting the suspension system (that the car's body sometimes decides to elevate by itself &#128512. As if it's in the load mode even higher. Or it's only related to the headlight level?

If you have air suspension I would bet it also uses that sensor to know the height and angle of the body.

There are front and rear sensors with very similar part numbers. Check with your local dealership first and identify the correct part number before purchasing on Amazon or eBay.

In the US, I do not find 7L0616213C. However there are 7L0616213 and 7L0616213D (which replaced 7L0616213B).

I do not have air suspension. The front sensor is used only for auto-leveling headlights. I did not check to see if there is a rear sensor or remember seeing one when replacing the shock absorbers. Maybe Audi uses different ones for headlights and suspension.
