Default Overfilled oil now rattles 14 q7

I overfilled the oil by I don’t know how much. Drove it for maybe 8 miles or so and now has a rattle after draining to normal levels. How badly have I screwed myself? Anyone know? Engine still runs and has not really performance.

As you removed the oil from it, you should know how much you overfilled it, no? You checked the dipstick prior to removing it, yes? Don't hold back details if you honestly want help, or meaningful feedback.

Ok. So here’s the real deal. I removed roughly two qts of oil out of a pan in the middle of the underside of the vehicle I thought it was a little odd to only have this much drain. But I have had an oil consumption issue. I changed the oil after replacing the crankcase breather/pcv valve. I guess my real question is what is this rear drain plug to as it was oil that drained out.

The issue of the rattle I do not think is related to an overfill as the oil was not frothed.

Edited: I did finally drain the overfilled oil and it was roughly 4 qt but I do not think this os the cause of the rattle. I feel it’s related to whatever oil I drained from this drain plug in the center of the vehicle

So you need to very quickly familiarize yourself with the undercar layout, to ensure you didn't make a major mistake by draining the transmission sump, which would net you between 4-6 Liters of fluid.
Basically at the juncture of two pieces of splash guard is where the oil drain plug/engine oil pan is located, so pretty close to the front of the car. Behind that you are going to have the transfer case, which doesn't hold much fluid, and then there's the transmission sump pan and drain towards the center of the car that hopefully you didn't touch.

Also, you need to be aware that if you did drain the transfer case (it would make big noise), it uses different fluid, and likewise the tranny sump, which is in the middle of the car...eeek!....uses extended life ATF, specific to the 8spd transmission, and if you did drain the sump of ATF, I'm pretty confident you'd be hearing some unhappy transmission sounds. Don't get this wrong.

What I drained from this plug was oil or the consistency of oil. It was not transmission fluid. Unless it’s the color and consistency of oil. Silver drain plug with a washer on a black pan

Unless this long life atf is the dark color of oil and not red like normal ATF. I’ve not gotten any transmission noise. I have attached a video (I think) of the engine running at idle for reference.

Ok, you'll have to figure out if you drained from other than the oil sump or not. The only two items under car with black pans/silver drain plugs are the engine oil, and the transmission fluid. Transmission fluid smells exceptionally different from motor oil.

That would lead into the next question: Did you use an oil meeting the extended life requirements and VW oil-spec requirements for your car? Putting the wrong oil in this car is also likely to create problems, and if you did go over by 4 quarts, which would lead me to believe you did drain from a different location, it's likely that you did some damage to internal seals, etc., when you drove it.

Proceed with extreme caution.
