Floor Wet - Sunroof Drains or Windshield Washer Leak or Both?
It started in the middle of the winter with a low windshield washer warning. Filled it up and the next day it came back. Tried spraying some and not much came out. At the time is was -20 outside so I didn't look much deeper into it but I noticed there wasn't any wet spots under the car. Couple weeks past and when I was cleaning it out I noticed the floor behind the passenger seat was wet. My first assumption is that the windshield washer line to the rear has a leak and is running through the interior. Today I pull off the door sill in the front and rear on the passenger side and notice the front sound proofing is wet as well. Now I don't know if I have a drain issue as well. I tried using some weed trimmer line but it only went in to the bottom of the A pillar.
I'm going to to the dealership to check on engine light on Tuesday so I was debating having them look at it but I'm worried it will get expensive quick.
Few questions:
1. Does anyone know which way the line runs from the washer reservoir to the rear washer?
2. Does the fluid only leave the tank when the rear washer is engaged?
3. When the sunroof drains are the issue does water typical accumulate in the rear floor as well?
Appreciate any help. Thank you.
