Gen 1 body compatibility

Will a 2013 hood and rear hatch fit on a 2007 Q7? I understand they're both Gen 1, but the 2013 has an appearance package.

As far as I know.....there is no difference....they should work fine with no issues.

If you click on the vehicle fitment tab for the part number it shows that this fits from 07-15.

The rear hatch is different for 2010-2015’s. The cutout for the taillights is a slightly different contour at the lower inside corner. The opening for the light connector is a different shape too. If it comes with taillights, then no big deal except for the control module. The 2010+ facelift models have a revised module for the LED taillights. The module needs CP removed to function completely.

No prob. It’s barely noticeable unless your looking for it. I found out when doing a facelift taillight retrofit. It requires slight grinding of the new light housings/lens in order to fit the ‘07-‘09 tailgates.
