Water on carpet drivers side front footwell

Does anyone know what to look for as far as a fix for a small water leak on the driver's side front footwell? It's basically a water stain after it rains on the carpet. 07' Q7 ...

There is a water drain tube that gets clogged, you access it through the front wheel wells. Could be it.

Thanks, do I need to remove the plastic liner?

Yep, at least all the screws that hold the half on the rear side of the wheel well. Then you can pull and fold it forward to get behind it.

Audi has been sticking these stupid check valve things in drain holes for years, and they always cause issues.
