2017 Audi Q7 - service recommendation in Boston, MA
Hello - Looking for suggestion for a good service place near Boston, MA. Dealer is recommending for these services:
1) replacement of thermostat and water pump as there is leakage.
2) replacement of both motor mounts
3) coil spring replacement.
As per dealer, this is around $7,500..any recommendations, if anyone had this done.

The recommendation is DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE AUDI DEALER, unless of course, you like getting bent over and lied to, or it's under some type of extended warranty benefit still. As the 2017 model has made the CR list of 'Used Cars to Avoid', as has the '21 model, I'd also suggest researching that topic further, if not already intimately acquainted with the car. I don't think I've ever heard of Audi, or anyone suggesting to replace the springs on a five year old car though; that's just a ballsy sucker punch...that's a new one.
I'd love to hear the justification for that one. Strut cartridges maybe, but springs, c'mon, really? Find a good indie mechanic in your area who knows German cars; read customer reviews, etc.
