Satellite radio install difficulty?
This one in particular: https://www.ebay.com/itm/26538197688...emis&media=SMS has the wiring connected but snipped. How difficult is it to patch into the stock wiring or would that even work? Would I need a new wiring harness that has the satellite connections or does the stock harness in the trunk already have the satellite connection cables? Do I need a new antenna as well? I guess my main question, is it feasible to install a used satellite receiver into a Q7 that didn't come with satellite?

But in the meantime here is a section from my 1st Hex-V2 scan, could this be the reason it says no satellite radio installed?

Anyway, my Sirius satellite unit failed early in the ownership. Since we do not need it, I bypassed it with a fiber optic loop ($~25). That Delphi radio is a PoS, breaking the MOST bus circular loop and cut off the audio. And yes the MOST bus sucks too.
You and I both have a 07 3.6L Premium. Therefore you should have the unit too. That radio, from what I read, is very unreliable. The ones you saw on eBay may be bad more often than not, so be careful when buying. My unit was on the right side of the car by the tailgate, behind the trunk liner. The Bose high def amplifier was there too.

I guess I'm not proficient enough in stereo electronics to understand the bypass. But if I do indeed have satellite ill buy a unit and activate it.
Originally, the tire kit had a test loop incorporated, which looks a bit like a useless, broken child's toy part. One of my used car's had a test loop in the tire kit, the other did not. I've lost track of mine, as when I first ran across it, I didn't know what it was or why it was stored back there with the tire kit. It's just a very basic test tool that can serve as a permanent bypass, if need be, but you need to have one (or more) to troubleshoot the MOST connected systems on the Q7.

Is the Sirius box either of the circled items? I see undone wiring that matches what I have seen plugged into the back of the Sirius boxes on ebay. It also appears that there might be a fiber optic loop as mentioned above in the yellow wire under the blue circle. Any help appreciated.
