07 Q7 Shifter Surround Trim Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the mmi controls and wood trim from the shifter surround? I figured out how to remove the shifter boot and gear selector panel off. I don't see any screws in there.

I'm trying to get the 2 12V plugs out and see why they no longer work. I checked the fuse and it tested fine.

Edit: Never mind, I figured out how to get the surround off. Just needed to pull up with some force. Turns out the previous owner had both outlets unplugged...

That'd do it, alright. Check those other plug-ins over on the left side, if yours has them, also; it's not uncommon to have someone working on that MMI circuit board, and they forget to plug-in all those tiny connectors for lighting/push-button start, etc., upon reassembly (out-of-site, out of mind). I replaced that aluminized trim piece that goes around shifter/MMI, and yup, sure did forget to check all those little connectors, so got out my toothpicks and did round 2...good times!

I found what i think is the Sirius receiver in the hatch fuse box. It is unplugged as well. I don't know if it broke and the previous owner unplugged it, or if it was never plugged in from the factory. I'm going to dismantle the hatch interior to see if it is indeed the Sirius receiver and if it works.
