battery drain

Ok so my battery seems to die when I lock my car. I also have to keep my car unlocked and have to push the unlock button when getting out of the car for the car not to die. Its very weird and do not understand. I also have a problem with my blinkers. any ideas?

You will need to get your car scanned fully. If you want to DIY almost anything on this car, then you need a VAG-compatible diagnostic scantool. VAG=Volkswagen Auto Group. The Ross-Tech VCDS system is the best for this car for DIY. To simply read codes to help basic understanding and troubleshooting, an OBD-Eleven basic module (without any annual 'upgrade' subscription) is the clear choice for entry level use.
